So we first met at a fencing club in Stourbridge, in 2001. Our groups of friends started to see each other more often, and after a few ups and downs, Ian and Bethany were established on 5th October 2003.
In July 2007, we took our first holiday just us together to Majorca for a week. There was sand, sea, sun, and the glint of an engagement ring. Without thinking about the date, Ian proposed on 07/07/07. Bethany accepted, and the rest is history.
Allowing time to finish university, save some money, and buy a house, we projected 2010 as a good year to be married. Bethany wanted to keep the anniversary date similar, and so it only seemed logical to plan the wedding for 10/10/10.
The year has now arrived! Ian is a systems and solutions technician for Change This Ltd, and Bethany works at Cadbury World in Bournville. Ian would like to swim with manatees, and Bethany likes playing crazy golf and eating doughnuts. We intend to live happily ever after.
